12 Shows to Air in the ’05 Season

(Lincoln, NE) * The Lincoln Saltdogs and FOX 4/17 will join forces to produce the “Saltdogs Dugout Show”. The 30-minute program, hosted by Larry Punteney, will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Lincoln Saltdogs and its players. “The Dugout Show will be more than just a game-by-game recap,” stated Saltdogs Marketing Director Bret Beer. “The Show will give our fans a true account and all access to what Lincoln Saltdogs baseball is all about.” The Show will air on Saturdays at 11:00 am and at 5:30 pm on Sundays.

The Saltdogs exhibition schedule begins May 11th, as the Saltdogs travel to Sioux City to face the Explorers; May 12th the Saltdogs will play Sioux City in Columbus, NE; May 14th the Saltdogs host the Kansas City T-Bones, then will close out the exhibiton season on the road at Kansas City on May 15th.

The Lincoln Saltdogs are scheduled to open the season at 7:05 pm on Friday, May 20th in Sioux Falls, SD against the Sioux Falls Canaries at Sioux Falls Stadium.

The 2005 home opener is set for May 23rd against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at 7:05 pm at Haymarket Park. For tickets call 474-BALL.
