Former Saltdog in Camp with Rockies

Lincoln, NE – RHP Humberto Cardenas, who pitched last season for the Lincoln Saltdogs, and is brother of Colorado Rockies pitcher David Cortes, has been invited to the Rockies' minor league camp.

Cardenas, an infielder until three years ago, went 4-5 with a 4.36 ERA last season for the Saltdogs, and pitched with the Mexicali Aguilas in the Mexican Pacific League this winter for manager Tim Johnson.
