Ruwe Signed for 2006

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Saltdogs have announced that the team has
signed rookie right handed pitcher Kyle Ruwe to a contract for the 2006
season.

Ruwe, who will turn 23 in February, is a native of Sunrise, FL and
signed with Lincoln last season after playing college baseball at Nova
Southeastern University.

During the 2005 season Ruwe appeared in 18 games and posted a record of
6-3 with an ERA of 3.40 and one save. The rookie right-hander had a
stretch of three straight wins last August, including back to back
complete game victories, and posted 51 strikeouts in 79.1 innings
pitched.

The Lincoln Saltdogs, members of the American Association of
Independent League Professional Baseball, will begin their sixth season
of professional baseball on May 11, 2006 in Pensacola with the first
pitch scheduled at 6:35 pm. The first home game at Haymarket Park is
scheduled for Tuesday, May 23rd against the Sioux City Explorers at 7:05
pm.
