Back in the Win Column
LINCOLN, Neb. * The Lincoln Saltdogs gave plenty of run support to their starting pitcher Rodney Myers on Thursday night as the Dogs toppled the Joliet JackHammers for the seventh straight time this season with a 7-1 victory. Bryan Warner continued picking up RBIs in the third inning to extend his RBI lead in the Northern League. After a walk to Jake Whitesides, Warner lined a double down the right field line scoring Whitesides from first. It was Warner's 66th RBI of the season.
Lincoln scored their run fourth run without a hit in the bottom of the fourth inning. Josh Patton started the inning by getting hit by a pitch from Shelley and after stealing second base he advanced to home on two straight fly balls to the outfield for the 4-1 lead.
In the bottom of the fifth the Saltdogs scored another run, this time off a two out single by Bryan Warner. He stole second and scored after Josh Patton singled to right field.
