Pre-Season Schedule Announced

The Lincoln Saltdogs have announced the 2005 pre-season schedule. A total of five exhibition games are scheduled, including one at Haymarket Park

"This is a chance to evaluate the talent we signed prior to the season and to look at the progress of returning players," stated Saltdogs Manager Tim Johnson. "We'll get a look at how other teams in our division look this year; get a feel for travel and play at neutral sites (Columbus and Fremont) where there are many Saltdogs fans."

The exhibition schedule begins on Wednesday, May 11th in Sioux City as the Saltdogs play in the Explorers at 7:05 pm. Thursday, May 12th the Saltdogs meet the Explorers in Columbus for a 7:05 pm game. On Saturday, May 14th the Saltdogs will host the Kansas City T-Bones at Haymarket Park at 12:05 pm. The remaining exhibition contests are on Sunday, May 15th in Kansas City, KS for a game with the T-Bones at 1:00 pm and on Tuesday, May 17th in Fremont, NE against the T-Bones at 7:00 pm.

The Lincoln Saltdogs are scheduled to open the season at 7:05 pm on Friday, May 20th in Sioux Falls, SD against the Sioux Falls Canaries at Sioux Falls Stadium.
